Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 14, 2026
Carbon2X is the personal professional website of Xin Yang. This notice describes the website’s current contact and content features.
1. Information We Collect
Website features. This version has no account registration, on-site inquiry form, payment collection or newsletter signup. It does not embed an analytics service or intentionally set tracking cookies through the site code.
Direct inquiries. If you choose to contact me on LinkedIn, I receive the information you share through that service. Please start with a non-confidential summary and avoid sending sensitive personal information or material you are not authorized to share.
Hosting and security. Delivering web pages involves processing connection and request information, which may include an IP address, browser information, requested URL and request time. Infrastructure-level logging and security features are separate from the website code. This notice does not promise that IP addresses are truncated or that logs have a fixed retention period.
2. How We Use Information
Information you send directly is used to respond to your inquiry and discuss the requested cooperation. Before sharing non-public inquiry material with a potential partner, we agree what may be shared and with whom. Any further commissioned work has its own agreed scope and information-handling arrangements.
I do not sell inquiry information or add you to a mailing list because you contacted me. Confidential client material is not published or submitted to external AI tools without appropriate permission.
3. External Services
Following a LinkedIn link opens a third-party service, which may require sign-in and has its own privacy and cookie practices. Research links also lead to external sites. Those services are not controlled by Carbon2X.
4. Questions and Information Requests
You may contact Xin Yang to ask about information you have shared, request a correction or deletion, or discuss an information-handling concern. I will review requests in light of applicable obligations and any relevant engagement. Requests concerning information held independently by LinkedIn or another service should also be directed to that service.
5. Changes
This notice will be reviewed when contact features, analytics or hosting arrangements change. The date above identifies the latest revision.
6. Contact
Contact Xin Yang on LinkedIn. Sign-in or a connection may be required.
